When I first read this to my son, I immediately felt vibration of a classic book of children's literature. Martin's tender rhymes and beautiful illustrations, Carle's strongly colored make "Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See?" a picture book classic that all children should read.

On each page, the reader asks a favorite animal that sees a ton of rhymes, the animal responds with another animal.

"Blue Horse, Blue Horse, What do you see? "

"I see a green frog looking at me."

This trend is repeated in all the pages until, in the last page, the students in a class to see all the animals.

I must admit that I found very clever turn of Martin. Although the concept is quite simple, it gives the magic of books. With a simple question "What do you see?" Children learn colors, animals and how to rhyme. Each rhyme leads effortlessly to the next, while the excellent tissue paper collage illustrations anchor the animal. Using a simple and repetitive children who really love intrigues in the rhyme and repeat the new words they learned.

What I like most, however, in "Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See?" are illustrations. Strong colors and texture notched help delineate animal bodies more sharply. Also, the positions of animals are static, which adds a minimum size for photos without making them less attractive. For example, the red bird is outlined in a flying position with brilliance body, a sharp beak and a tail set; Blue Horse shows his teeth green frog has a pink tongue. All these details create a great atmosphere and add a gas line in the book.

In 2007, "Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See?" A celebrated his 40th birthday and came in a larger size, with coverage up to date, and an audio CD included. To be honest, I preferred this edition more than the original, especially because the CD with my son was able to follow the story better. Reading the book with the CD has made liverier picture book and even more interesting. Furthermore, Bill Martin and Eric Carle about the CD on the book, while the sounds of animals are performed by the excellent actress, Gwyneth Paltrow.

In my opinion, "Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See?" is a must in children's literature because it helps young children and Toddlers learn new things with a rhythmic repetition and lots of photos identifiable. Without offering any extravagance or sophisticated plot, the book won a place in the hall the children's book fame.
