Lake Tana source of the Blue Nile and other beautiful lakes in the Rift Valley, many national parks, is home to many bird and animal life. The high, rugged, Simien Mountains in the north and the Bale Mountains in the south are also home to unique wildlife, and are ideal for hiking.
North-Eastern Ethiopia
In the northeast, Dallol, this part of Africa also offers an opportunity to see the first signs of a form new ocean basin. It looks like another planet because there are many colorful rocks in each counter. It's just like a Science fiction. Nearby Dallol in the Danakil Depression north of the Great Rift Valley, the only volcanic crater below the sea level has remained silent since 1926 that the seabed will one day occupy gradually widens.
