Need some food ideas for a 9 month old baby during travel?
Can somebody tell me what could I possibly take for a child who is 9 months old and is fed twice on formula milk and the rest are all home made food. Am travelling for 4 days out of which 3.0 days is travelling in train and rest at some hotel. I am quite perplexed as to what to take for the baby i dont want to take commercial food, that would be the last option. Any other ideas? Many Thanks.
Just hand over food from your plate.
As long as you watch for salt, sugar and processed foods, your baby can eat what you eat.
My baby is nearly one and has never eaten puree, I started feeding her from my plate from six months of age and she’s been feeding herself real food ever since.
We went away on holiday when she was eight months and I took no food with us for her. She ate from our plates each mealtime, with fruit snacks and milk feeds in between.
She ate grilled fish, jacket potatoes, meat pies, salads, cooked vegetables, corn on the cob, lasagne, chicken sandwiches, everything I ate.
It’s much less stress!
