What could be causing hair growth to slow my toddler daughter?
She is 22 months and suffers from epilepsy, She takes medication every day. I do not think that either the drug, but I prefer to have hair growing slower than the seizures by day all!
Your not alone. Some children are just slow growing hair. One possible cause could be epilepsy. Children with certain genetic conditions may have slower development, with their hair, teeth, height, and so everyone thinks that my daughter is a little boy. shes 2.5 and has locks of hair. I have a neurological condition called neurofibromatosis and doctors now believe that my daughter also. Hair were very slow to develop in when I was little, but if it helps, my head is full of abnormal hair but my hair are really beautiful. If you're really interested you can see a genetic counselor and ask him about this to confirm this hypothesis. Be assured that what has happened to others and you're not alone.
